Standardized Testing

 

 MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Testing is administered to all K-8 students three times yearly
to assess academic progress.

BETWEEN FALL 2018 AND SPRING 2019,
ST. HILARY SCHOOL WAS RANKED 5th IN LANGUAGE ARTS, 6th IN MATH
AND 9th IN READING ON THE MAP TEST
AMONG THE 90 SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF CLEVELAND!

The percentile rankings below show the degree to which our school scored in comparison
to others across the nation who took the test during the 2018-2019 school year.
All students, regardless of ability or need, took the MAP test. 


Mathematics — Kindergarten: 91, Grade 1: 98, Grade 2: 86, Grade 3: 90, Grade 4: 69, Grade 5: 81, Grade 6: 87, Grade 7: 93, and Grade 8: 94

Reading — Kindergarten: 92, Grade 1: 97, Grade 2: 70, Grade 3: 85,   Grade 4: 92, Grade 5: 93, Grade 6: 94, Grade 7: 91, and Grade 8: 97

Language Usage — Grade 2: 86, Grade 3: 90, Grade 4: 97, Grade 5: 96, Grade 6: 96, Grade 7: 98, Grade 8: 99 (Grades K & 1 not tested)

 

St. Hilary School students also take take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CoGaT or CAT) in Grades 1, 3, 5 and 7.
