THE KRISTINA N. BUEHRLE SCHOLARSHIP

 Through the generosity of the family of Kristina N. “Tina” Buehrle, a new scholarship fund has been established to assist an incoming kindergarten or first grade student.  Tina Buehrle was a beloved member of the St. Hilary community, as the mother of four sons who attended the school and as a trusted and dedicated substitute teacher at the school over many years.  A scholarship through this fund will be given to up to two qualifying students each school year, beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.  The amount of the scholarship will be half the cost of tuition at either the parishioner or non-parishioner rate. The scholarship will be awarded based on financial need of the family, with special consideration given to a family facing a life-altering circumstance.  Consideration will also be given to a family expressing a love of reading as part of the foundation of education and life-long success, as was important to Tina.
