Walking through the school halls, you immediately feel the warmth, love, and sense of family that St. Hilary is. Being able to work at the same school that my daughter will be attending makes working there extra special.

What Made My Favorite Teacher Special:  My favorite teacher made math fun and accessible.  I struggled with math in high school, and ended up having to retake Algebra 2.  I felt like there was an issue with me personally, that I wasn't smart enough to do well in math, but my new algebra teacher completely restored my confidence.  She was patient, encouraging, and her lessons were always engaging and helpful.  She had the biggest heart and she obviously believed in her students.  Math ended up being one of my best subjects, but my teacher's character and the way she motivated her students was an even bigger inspiration.  She taught me that a great teacher can make all the difference, and I hope to inspire my students the way she inspired me.
