VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are many opportunities for parents to become involved in activities at St. Hilary School. While there is no volunteer requirement, parental support and involvement are an important part of what makes St. Hilary School successful.
Most parents enjoy volunteering in some capacity. Parents assist the teachers with events and projects in the classroom, serve as Room Parents, work in the school kitchen as part of the Hot Lunch Program, assist in the library as Library Aides, serve terms on the Parents' Association Board, chair Parents' Association committees, serve as Mentors to new families, and more! Many volunteer opportunities involve work at home, ideal for working parents or those with young children still at home.
All visitors to the school must check in at the school office and affix a visitor’s tag before going to their destination.
ST. HILARY SCHOOL PARENTS' ASSOCIATION
BOARD AND COMMITTEES
Members of the board are elected by parents of St. Hilary School students. They provide support to the school through fundraising, planning and assisting with school events. The board promotes excellence in Catholic education by acting in the best interest of the parish, students, parents and school staff. The board meets on scheduled dates each month. Meetings are closed.
The Parents' Association Board hosts one general membership meeting each school year in January. The meeting is open to all.
The Parents' Association Board oversees a host of committees that do everything from fundraising to event planning, serving hot lunches to recycling school uniforms among families, and so much more. Volunteer opportunities are available to chair or serve as a member of these committees. Chairs are established in the spring of each school year for the following year. New volunteers are always needed and welcome!
