SAVE THE DATE FOR VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) JUNE 18-20, 2025

An evening summer faith camp that includes the whole family. Vacation Bible School provides a unique way for parents and children of the parish, ages 4 and up to those entering 4th grade, to learn about and celebrate their faith through Bible stories, snacks, music, games, and crafts. Anyone who loves children and enjoys involving them in these activities is invited to volunteer. We need both adult and student volunteers (5th grade or higher) to make VBS successful.

***This program will not run without a director (or co-directors), so if you are interested,
please reach out by this fall so we can setup mentorship opportunities for new leaders.***

Many of the area coordinators plan to be involved as support players but, without a Director or Co-Directors, the program will not be able to continue. The director(s) typically begin planning in January and have periodic monthly meetings to plan for summer. St. Hilary uses the Cat Chat VBS curriculum (visit https://catchat.ca/ to see the variety of themes/resources available to help carry out the role). VBS is a great way for families and parents to get involved at the parish and to meet others.

Time Commitment: Varies depending upon volunteer duty. Babysitting is available for younger children of adult volunteers during camp evenings.
