REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

PLEASE READ OUR ADMISSION POLICY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH APPLICATION!

In addition to completing our online registration process,
the following items must be provided / completed at the time of registration:

√  $300.00 registration fee (paid online with registration – non-refundable except kindergarten applicants not ready at screening and grades 1-8 applicants if class capacity is reached)

√  Copy of birth certificate (From health department of city or county where child was born)

√  Proof of parish registration (envelope number) if family is member of parish
(This applies to St. Hilary, Guardian Angels and St. Victor Parishes)

√  Schedule Pastor/Principal Meeting online (new families only)

√  Copy of most recent report card (entering grades 1-8 only)
(Registration will not be processed without this!)

√  Copy of most recent MAP / similar standardized testing scores (entering grades 1-8 only) (Registration will not be processed without this!)

√  TWO completed recommendation forms (entering grades 1-8 only)
(ONE MUST be from current principal; ONE MUST be from current ACADEMIC teacher OR school counselor; MUST use prescribed form; MUST be emailed directly from recommender to dsinopoli@st-hilary.org)  (Registration will not be processed without this!)

√  Schedule shadow visit by emailing dsinopoli@st-hilary.org (entering grades 3-8 only)
(Do not delay - available dates are limited!)

√  Schedule two-hour shadow / assessment visit by emailing dsinopoli@st-hilary.org (entering grades 1 & 2 only) (Registration will not be processed without this!)

Additionally, for Kindergarten students:

√  Copy of most recent preschool evaluation (bring to Kindergarten Screening)

√  Photo of child

√  Must be 5 years of age before August 15 to enroll

√  Schedule Kindergarten Screening online

Additionally, for students with special education or service plans:

√  Copies of testing data and special education or service plans
(Submit prior to beginning application for admission to ensure needs can be met)

New student registration for students seeking to enter kindergarten through grade 8 for the 2027-2028 school year will begin January 5, 2027 and will be conducted online.  Applications must be submitted by February 1, 2027 to be considered for admission.  Kindergarten screening for 2027-2028 will be held by appointment March 10, 11 and 12, 2027 at St. Hilary School's Horning Hall. Screening appointments are made at the time of registration. Please call 330-867-8720, ext. 343 for more information.
